I don't know if it was a mishap or an attempt to blimp my hubby and I out on our wedding night, but we were fed two-three pound lobsters just after our wedding. We ate them bibs and all...and still had a fab wedding night :-)

We got married in Mexico. To our surprise, our wedding planner surprised us by having a 10 piece Mariachi band show up and play for us and our guests. They were amazing and it was the icing on the cake to a great day.

My wedding was pretty tame and boring--but my wedding pictures all turned out green because of the color the church was painted and the lighting. We all looked like sick little aliens. This did not make for lovely photo albums.

"We were supposed to do a receiving line at our wedding right before everyone hit the buffet. However, post-ceremony pictures took a lot longer than expected, and we didn't want to throw the whole schedule off so we opted to nix it spur of the moment. I legit flagged down a bridesmaid and was mouthing to make people eat with a bunch of crazy hand gestures. Luckily, she understood and not one guest knew what happened." ?

Our German Shepherd was pregnant and went into labor just before my wedding was to start. I was not sure if my dad was going to make it in time! Lol!! He hated to leave her, but could not miss walking me down the aisle. He was missing in action after the wedding and before the reception to go check on his girl. We had seven new members to the family the day of my wedding 😀

We took pictures for 2 hours and I could hardly stand up my husband had to hold on to me. After we were done there was no food left but a few small pieces of what was left (we later ordered pizza at the hotel). When were were leaving our car had string stuff all over it and all kinds of stuff in and on it. We took it to a car wash it get the stuff off and it did not come off and there were rocks in the hubcaps. It was months before the insurance took care of getting the stuff off of my car. It fit in because it was around Halloween time.

At a friend's wedding, the minister was a no-show so they delayed the ceremony for about an hour. They called in someone else and we had the cocktail hour, then the ceremony, then the reception. During the best Man speech (given by the groom's brother), the guy said he hoped they lived and died together. We all cracked up and he got so embarrassed. My wedding was a disaster from start to finish. It was a definite sign of things to come.

One mishap that happened at our wedding was the officiant. We had to get him last minute because our other officiant could not make it. So he had to learn everything about us very quickly like our names. During the ceremony, he is stating our entire names, and he calls my husband, Jose Daniel instead of Jose David. My husband face turned bright red, and when he starts to say my name, he completely skips my middle name. I guess he was afraid he was going to mess it up as well. Til this day our friends call my husband, Daniel, just to mess with him.

I attended my friend's wedding last year and it was at a golf course. As she was coming down the hill for her ceremony, her heel dug into the grass and she tripped. Everyone gasped and she just got up as everyone smiled. It was a beautiful ceremony, and now we all laugh about it.

No notable mishaps at the weddings I've attended. Hopefully none will happen for mine!
