My nephew had so much pent up energy and was misbehaving as a child, but once he got in playing hockey he found the perfect outlet. Now he's doing great!

Both of my sons. They play football. My oldest improved in school because he learned how important it is to focus and be alert. It benefits him in the game, and when it comes to his school work.
My nephew/godson Manoli has always been an amazing young man.One thing that playing soccer and basketball on teams has done for him is to bring him out of his shyness when he was little.He's now extremely self-confident!

My niece has always been quite shy, but two years ago she started playing softball. Not only has she become more outgoing--making friends with teammate--but we can see that she is also more confident in herself, in all aspects of life. My sister and I support her by going to all her games!
I've known several children I've tutored in the past who truly benefited from sports because it gave them the willpower, confidence and energy they needed to feel inspired to go after their dreams and goals.
