Coconut BonBons Mix together: 2 lbs of powdered sugar 1/2 cup (1 stick) of melted butter 1 can of sweetened condensed milk 2 cups of shredded coconut This will make a sticky mixture and you will need to chill it (preferably overnight) before rolling it into little balls. Melt a box (8 oz) of Baker's semi-sweet chocolate on low heat with a 1 x 1 1/2 inch square piece of parafin wax, cut up or shredded for better melting. Roll the coconut balls one by one in the melted chocolate, coating the whole thing with chocolate then return it to the wax paper. You can use a toothpick or a utensil made for dipping chocolates. Add more chocolate if you find you are running out. If you need to thin the chocolate a little, add Crisco, 1 teaspoon at a time till you reach the desired consistency. Don't add to much or it will be too runny! When the chocolates are cooled and the chocolate has firmed up, they are ready to serve!

Favorite Brunch Recipe is the overnight breakfast casserole. It's our family tradition for Christmas morning, but it's great any morning, and the nice thing is that it's ready to pop in the oven when you wake up. Grease a 13 x 9 pan and cube 5-6 pieces of bread in it. Layer 1 lb. of cooked, drained sausage, and 8 oz. of grated sharp cheddar cheese. Mix 4 c. milk, 1 dozen eggs, salt, pepper, and dry mustard to taste and pour over the bread/sausage/cheese. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Preheat the oven to 350 and bake 30-45 minutes or until done in the middle. YUM!

My favorite part of coffee is the fact that I have been drinking it since I was seven. It's not really just that in itself that is memorable. It's the fact that it was always the time my mom and sisters and I could all get together to talk about our day and talk over any upcoming events. It was what some people currently use dinner for.....a time for sharing and coming together after all the bustle of the day. I will never forget the memories that were made on all those coffee breaks with my family and we still do it to this day...even though we live in other states, we all make coffee and call each other on the phone and say, "do you wanna do coffee?"!!!

We always have a holiday tradition of having sausage balls for breakfast. The recipe is very easy and can be found on the back of a box of Bisquick. It is Bisquick mix, cheddar cheese and sausage. We make some balls with hot sausage and some mixed so there is something to please everyone.
