I added my recipe for Good Morning Coffee Cake which is my favorite big family brunch food! We always do brunch at my mother's on Christmas Day...it's a family tradition that we all look forward to.

I made cinnamon roll pancakes Christmas morning. SO GOOD! 1/2 a stick of butter with 3/4 c brwn sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. I put the mixture in a squitt bottle, but a pasty bag works, too. I used instant pancake mix, and when the pancakes had cooked a little, swirl the mixture onto the tops. Flip, and smell the sugar and cinnamon caramelize. It gives a bit of a crunch, which I loved! I made simple icing with no specific measurments of water, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Delicious!

I found two DELIOUS and EASY recipes on Betty Crocker this year for CHristmas cookies. They look "fancy" and I will be making them every year. They are Cherry Tea Cakes and Mint Thumbprints. Yummy!

Our favorite Christmas breakfast is bagels and lox...we make the lox with fresh salmon and a bit of vodka, dill, and lemon....cover in a shallow dish and then i use a saran wrapped 5 lb bag of sugar or flour to weight down the salmon...I pour off the liquid daily every day for at least 3 to 5 days...then use really good toasted bagels....cream cheese...red onion sliced super thin...and good capers....then we make a lovely champagne cocktail to go with it...yummmm

All of these recipes look so good. I don't have a recipe to list because my daughter borrowed my personal recipe book. Sorry. I did however enjoy reading all of these excellent recipes submitted by everyone!

The Virtuoso is supposed to be a great coffee grinder. My husband roasts and grinds coffee beans himself now and says he will never go back to buying them pre-roasted.

Some of these recipes are getting tried in my house! They all sound so good. I like to keep things simple. I like to pour melted vanilla ice cream over a pound cake and top it with fresh fruit like peaches or berries. No cooking involved!

I love the DIY food gifts. Homemade marshmallows are so tasty and novel, and I've sugared a number of different things, but never cranberries. They look amazing, and I imagine they taste amazing, too.

For Christmas brunch my mother-in-law made Applewood smoked bacon and a French Toast Bread Pudding with apricot syrup. So delicious!! I would highly recommend the combination!

I think that would be a great way to take care of wintertime but i think it could be done any time so it just isn't one main thing it's all the time. but anything that she speaks backs i will back soon.

We use to call it French Toast Rounds as kids. Top it off with fruits serve with cups of hot Coffee, Hot Chocolate.. Orange Juice & Champagne great conversation and good old fashion family time..! Ingredients English Muffins we have been using this recipe for years.. You can double or triple depending on how many you have..more the merrier.. 4 eggs 1 ¼ cups milk ½ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ teaspoon cinnamon Directions In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, vanilla and cinnamon until very well blended. Heat a lightly oiled griddle to medium-hot. Dip both sides of muffin slices in egg mixture, coating well. Place slices on the heated griddle. Cook until both sides are golden brown. Serve hot. Variation For a unique taste, try using cardamom in place of the cinnamon. Top with peaches, blueberries, strawberries or whipped cream.
