Expecting baby number 3, any advice?

Hello, my usband and I are expecting the arrival of our third child. I was wondering if any of you ladies have any uggetions, advice, useful tips or children's items, etc. that you can share with me. I've heard from some that going from one child to two is harder than two children to three. On the other hand, one couple said two was manageable and three seemed like a hundred!

Congrats!! I'll be reading this advice too as I am expecting my third daughter in March. I feel like I am so much better now with two than I was with one, so I'm hoping three is an easy transition. My daughters are 5 and 2, and the 5 year old is really willing to help much more than when her sister was born. She was only 3 1/2 then and ornery as can be.

The third child, oh...where to start! I always heard going from one to two was the hardest but I had a hard time going from two to three. We have two hands and two kids were good to go, when we add a third child we have to manage a little different I suppose. I think like others said though it depends on the ages of the kids among many other things. I know every child is a blessing so no matter what you will have one more child to be thankful for. I admit I have to remind myself of that at times when I am having my "mommy breakdown" however the hard times pass and it is all worth it! Good Luck and Congratulations!

I also recommend finding a nice consignment shop in your area, it has been an absolute blessing for me. I have 5 children so things get very expensive and if you can find the right consignment shop you will be surprised how you do not mind them being "second hand" as much as you may have thought. My daughter loves Justice Jeans (she is 7) but I have 3 girls and if I went and purchased 3 pairs of jeans new from there I would come out with a large bill. I went to my local consignment shop and bought her 3 pair each were about 9-12 bucks but they looked brand new. I also purchased an Oshgosh coat for my youngest for $10.00 and it looked like it was never worn. If you go to one I would make sure you find a good one though or you will end up getting the wrong opinion of them, I have been to some really bad ones that look like leftovers from a bad yard sale and then the one I go to looks like a smaller department store, organized by size, type, and color! Again Hope this helps!

Congratulations! I don't know when I went from 2 to 3 nothing much changed for me. One more diaper but my middle son had someone to concentrate on while my oldest was at school. I got lucky though my last two aren't that much of a challenge as my first lol. After we figured it all out it was all uphill from there. ^.^

I am glad I saw this post. I am also having baby number 3 on December 22nd. My son is 9, other daughter will be 4 in January, and baby due is a girl. We are both working parents and both kids currently in different stages of life and sometimes it is hard to give each the amount of attention they deserve separately but we try. I have also been worried about baby number 3 and the effects on my other children. We have always done so much as a family. Weekend day trips, drives, park visits, crafts, movie nights, game nights, etc. But with a 3rd baby, some of that may have to slow down. I am sure they will be fine but I just worry. Would love tips and advice too. And Luzecita, good luck and congrats on your 3rd baby as well.

Congrats to you too JustMissAsh!!! I have all boys I don't know how a girl would go but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. Don't worry too much that you don't enjoy, they can get crazy sometimes lol. I know I'm never bored often.
