Makes: 4 servings
Description: A top-of-the-stove, good-enough-for-company side dish combining starch and vegetables.
Ingredients:
1 Cup
uncooked regular or long-grain rice
2 1/4 Cups
water
approx. 3 Tbsp.
dry onion soup mix (from packet)
2 Cups
frozen mixed vegetables
to taste
salt
Instructions: Combine the rice, water, soup mix and salt in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add the frozen vegetables and return to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Check. Cook until the rice and vegetables are tender. Put in serving dish and serve.

This is a great way to eat something grate and cheep so u don't brake the bank it tasty and it is vary filling
I make this at Thanksgiving and it is absolutely delicious! I use more black pepper than called for because we all love it.
