Since January 19, 2024, I have been living with my aunt, who has been fighting lymphoma, blood clots, a broken foot, and other maladies. Her son, who had lived with her, died unexpectedly the same week that she received her cancer diagnosis. I was in a bad situation, and she asked if I would come live here and help take care of her. It has been a win-win situation for us. She is able to enjoy lots of good homemade food and to focus on healing, while I take care of the house. She is providing me a safe and loving home. I've been able to begin and work on a lot of areas of personal growth.

I tried to support my staff, mostly women. I started a mentorship program for new employees so that they would feel welcome and supported. Hopefully I made a difference in other ways for women to seeking advice in career or other matters I could refer them in the right directtion.
