GOOD LUCK!
I have a sleep disorder in which I can sleep and sleep and sleep, but I never wake up feeling rested and doctors don't know why, just something wrong in my brain. I've always wanted to try a product like this but so far only very expensive stimulant medication has helped relieve the sleepiness. I don't want to spend $100 here and $100 there trying a bunch of products only to have them not work so it would be awesome to win this!
I enjoy a hot shower with my favorite scented bath gel right before I go to sleep. I make sure that when I get out, I can just towel off and head straight to bed and do some light reading before dozing off.
My tip for sleep is having my 2 kids((((LOL my girls---dogs a lab & a sheba-inu))) with us in bed every nightt--
I don't try to force sleep. I just lie in my bed and relax and think about things.
I sleep best in the rain. I have found that keeping a fountain running next to the bed helps me to relax just like the rain!
Sleep is very hard to get on a routine with four kids! Ranging from 12 to 3 months. Usually I'll get all but one to bed at the same time and then struggle with the last one! My bedtime ranges from 930 - 1am!! It's crazy. But when I do get a chance to myself, I try to take a hot relaxing shower and curl up with a good book!
I take Tylenol PM to help me sleep and to help with back pain. It's good for any other kind of pain you may have or if you have allergies. I buy the generic brand and I save a ton of money that way.
Ear plugs. Sleep mask. And all natural fabrics. Good scents in the room. Read something positive just before you turn out the light and put head on pillow.
hot cup of tea
melatonin helps too!
I can only sleep if I have a fan on. I love the soft noise.
I like to lie in bed and watch/listen to my favorite shows that kind of lull me to sleep.
Work tends to keep me up at night - I get in bed, tired as anything - and I can't sleep thinking about all the things I have to do at work the next day.
Years ago a read about a sleep study that had been done in Norway (I think...) Anyway, in the study they found that people who wear socks to bed sleep more deeply than those who don't. I tested the idea for myself and found that I wake up less when I am wearing socks and that I fall asleep more quickly.
I have trouble sleeping and dislike the use of medicines to help me sleep . I love the fragrance of lavender and mist my clean pillow case with it and always use lavender scent in my bath water , it relaxes me and I drift off to a good , restful sleep .
