The resignation of the Pope was the most interesting! This has never happened! And I am curious why he did. And it's the new Pope they elected was a more modern Pope. He also is a simple man which appeals more to the masses. Which is a sign of the times.

It's been a very interesting year, to say the least. The Affordable Care Act turning out to be the disaster many of us felt it would be. The NSA spying fiasco. A pope resigning. *sigh* I think my favorite big story of the year would have to be the birth of England's little Prince George. The birth of royalty helps us still believe in magic, nobility, and fairy tales in the world, I think.

I'm posting my top 3 and why :D The bombing of the Boston Marathon--Total shock that anyone could be that EVIL :( Amanda Berry breaks free from the home where she and 2 others were held captive for 10 years--This was a GREAT Ending to the horror these girls went through!! Miley Cyrus twerks at the MTV Music Awards--Another Shock and OMG situation, just hope she can dig herself out of this one!!

The Obamacare website failure....it makes me sad to think that others do not have the want for better health care for all Americans most families are one sickness away from losing everything and don't even know it this might not be the best plan but at least it gets the ball rolling for improvement if everyone worked together on this republicans and democrats it could truly be great i can hope that in the new year there will be some compromise between both parties
