Makes: 1 Loaf
Description: Warm, soft bread with a crunchy outside-perfect for those cold winter days!
Ingredients:
1 packet
Bread machine yeast
1tbsp + 1tsp
white sugar
1 1/4 c
warm water- 110 degrees
1 1/2 tbsp
Vegi. oil
1 1/2 tsp
Salt
3 1/4c
Flour
Instructions: Dissolve yeast in the warm water. Add sugar and dissolve. Let sit about 5 minutes. Stir in oil. Gradually add the flour in about 1/2 cup at a time. Once combine sprinkle a little extra flour on a hard surface and knead dough for about 8 minutes. No more than 10. Lightly oil a big bowl and let dough rise in a warm place (covered) for about an hour and a half. Place raised dough in a bread pan. Cover and let rise an additional 40 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Flick bread, if a hallow sound, it's done, if not bake a few minutes more. Serve with butter or olive oil. Enjoy!
