Grandma's Special K Bars

Makes: 36 sq.

Description: Extremely easy recipe, handed down from Grandma. One thing children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew they would find when visiting Grandma and Grandpa.

Ingredients:
1 cup  Granulated Sugar
1 cup  White Syrup
1 Tblsp  Margerine
1 1/2 cup  Crunchy Peanut Butter
6 cups  Special K Cereal

Instructions: In a large pot, heat sugar, syrup, and margarine. Continue heating on medium heat until mixture begins to lightly boil, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat. Stir in Peanut Butter and Special K until cereal is evenly coated with mixture.

Lightly grease a 13 x 9 pan, spread mixture evenly. Cut into squares prior to bars cooling.
