Description: Extremely easy recipe, handed down from Grandma. One thing children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew they would find when visiting Grandma and Grandpa.
Ingredients:
1 cup
Granulated Sugar
1 cup
White Syrup
1 Tblsp
Margerine
1 1/2 cup
Crunchy Peanut Butter
6 cups
Special K Cereal
Instructions:
In a large pot, heat sugar, syrup, and margarine. Continue heating on medium heat until mixture begins to lightly boil, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Stir in Peanut Butter and Special K until cereal is evenly coated with mixture.
Lightly grease a 13 x 9 pan, spread mixture evenly. Cut into squares prior to bars cooling.
