I loved the movie. As a woman of color, I found nothing wrong with the book being authored by someone who was not African American. I know there was backlash and much discussion regarding this issue, but I love dthe book and the movie

I never read the book but I watched the movie twice. I really liked Skeeter's character. I love that she challenged the system and prejudice. She was strong, brave, and beautiful. I especially loved some of the humor in this movie and in particular the pie incident.

pretty good movie

I just watched this on tv the other day. It was the first time that my 11 year old daughter watched the movie. It was very thought provoking for her because it was the first time she realized what went on in South during that time. I told her to remember to treat everyone kindly.

This movie was a good depiction of the book. I love the plot and think the actors did a good job.

I absolutely loved, loved, loved this movie. The acting was really good and it stayed true to the book form. It will make you laugh and cry and it's a good history lesson, one never to be repeated. I think even men will enjoy this movie.
