I was SO disappointed by the movie. I couldn't see the love between Bella and Edward like the way it was portrayed in the book. And the glittering effect? What was that?!?! TACKY! The only good scene was the fighting scene.

Good love story, however the editing is terrible!

I did not enjoy this movie as much as I had hoped. The actors vampire makeup looked off to me and was a distraction. I enjoyed the book way more than this movie.

I loved the books... Well, the first couple, anyway. The later books get a little odd. But this movie did not impress me at all. I thought the acting was off at points and the storyline just didn't seem to work very well to me. But, all that said, I'll still go out and see New Moon when it opens.

I didn't really like the movie. But then again I really didn't enjoy the books too. I guess it's just not my cup of tea. In the movie theater I found myself many times slouching in my seat and feeling very awkward. I don't think there was much chemistry between the two leading roles.

The movie was the worst, it left out so much that was in the book. Instead of making it about the love & struggle with Edward & Bella they concentrated more on the vampire clan that comes into town. I really hope they do a better job for "new moon"

I hated both the movie and the books. Whatever happened to the good and scary vampires who have fangs and actually burn in the sunlight?

Just another bad movie, I can see where they were trying to go with it but it just fell short. The movie needed better actors & quite frankly I felt like to much was being left out & I never even read the book. I'd grade it about a D+

Definitely read the book before you see the movie. It's MUCH better. Robert Pattinson's portrayal of Edward was too brooding for me. And, Kristin Stewart did not fit my image of Bella at all.

The movie was terrible...I couldn't help laughing the entire time because it was such a joke. Maybe I feel this way because I read the book and just didn't find the actors suiting the characters all that well. Watching it in theaters, I suppose it was inevitable to hear all the little teeny boppers screaming out loud with the "scary" previews for The Unborn (not scary) or cheering every time Rob Pattinson or Taylor Lautner were on the screen. Aside from the theater experience, the movie was crap...I only half blame Catherine Hardwicke. I'm willing to give New Moon a chance with the new director, Chris Weitz, because the previews look decent. We'll see.

I wanted to review this movie because so many just love it and I have to differ. I read the series of books and while entertaining, do we really want a message to our kids that they'd rather die and give up their entire life to live eternally as a vampire? A little silly to us adults; however, I work in a high school library and many teens love this. I just think it's a little ridiculous but... I've seen all of the movies. This one, the first, was the worst at follwing the book story line. I wouldn't recommend it to a serious movie buff but maybe a mature teen.. ??

I love Edward and Jacob, but movie did not keep my interest. It was so boring in the 1st half and just a little bit better in the 2nd half where there was more action. I cannot believe that they even split up the book into 2 movies. That was just greed to make money. It was not necessary to do that. Now, I just want to get the series over with so I can find out what happened to these characters. Guess I could read the books, but the movies ruined my interest.

If you're 14 you should love this movie, if you're an adult you should not. If you're a grown-up you should see it for the pubescent fodder that it is. The love story isn't realistic (and I'm not even talking about the fact that a vampire is involved), all the characters show the immaturity and selfishness of a teenagers, and some of the special effects are just so laughable. The only reason it's getting two stars is because I know 20 years ago I would have loved it.

I read all the novels to this series and was extremely disappointed when I saw the films. I thought they were extremely funny and they did not follow the novel. If you have never read the book than you will really like the movie.

When i first saw this movie i was shocked! (not in a good way), i really had my expectations set tat the movie would be great.. but was disappointed, i feel they should've used some different actors and changed some of the effects they used.. If you ask me i wouldnt see this movie again. Your better off with the book!
