Did you know that nearly 1 in 5 girls have missed school because they can’t afford period protection? It’s not just school they miss. It also means missing out on activities they love, like sports practices, drama club, or student council.
At puberty, girls’ confidence plummets, and having to miss activities because of lack of access to period products only makes this drop in confidence worse. Missing out can limit a girl’s potential and opportunities far beyond puberty.
We’re so excited to support Always & Walmart's Live #LikeAGirl campaign to spread the word about this important issue as they work to #EndPeriodPoverty. Always and Walmart are donating a year’s supply of period products to 50 teams in 50 states, so girls in need don’t have to miss out on the activities they love because they don’t have access to period protection.

This is amazing. I can imagine how young women can feel to have not have something that many of us take for granted.Hopefully this is one less issue that have to worry about.

This is such an eye opener, I never knew that so many young girls can't afford to purchase pads and miss going to school or participating in sport activities because they lack pads.
