If you could help build a better community with just one change, what would you do? Knowing that not everyone has money to support the many causes they care about, Tom’s of Maine has created the 50 States for Good program!

As part of this year’s campaign, they’re inviting anyone to share their #OneWayToHelp their community for a chance to select a local nonprofit to receive funding. This year, Tom’s of Maine is awarding more funding than ever – more than $1 million in total – with $20,000 going to a nonprofit organization in every state and Washington D.C.!

We help out at our local Woman's Safe Home by "couponing for good". The kids and I clip coupons and purchase items for the shelter and help the woman and children who need a safe new start. #OneWaytoHelp #entry #MI #ad

I would help to supply our local food pantry with toiletries: shampoo, deodorant, body wash, stuff like that - so that the families (especially the ladies!) can feel better emotionally, too.

Our town needs a new library. They are out of room, have facility issues and have very little parking.

I would offer help for needy families on weekends. I noticed that the churches that provide help during the week operate 1 or 2 days out of the week and a couple of bigger churches may have Mon to Fri until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I would like to provide help for needy families on weekends both Saturday and Sunday. We currently have enough volunteers during the week and i feel they would be willing to come in on weekends to help give out canned foods, cereals, juices, etc to the needy families in our area. #OneWaytoHelp #entry #FL #ad

I would start a program that offers high quality childcare for lower income families and the families would pay what they could afford.
