Congrats to our winner, cece03!
I would like to see a community garden in my town. I see the place it could go everyday.
I would build more parks to get kids out of the house and being more active.
I would install a drinking fountain at every other bus stop here in Arizona.
Recycle Reuse
I'd run a cut a thon for a wig making charity that would make wigs for kids or women with cancer.
I live in Abilene KS and last summer our historical theater (it was an old restored church from the late 1800s) was struck by lightning and they didn't know so it smoldered and then basically went up in flames that night. They have had a hard time getting money to rebuild it and I know this money would help so much. They did so much with the community bringing in theater programs for all ages, summer programs for the kids, free summer movies for the kids. It was a shame that such a beautiful building was/is gone but it is also a community place that is just a void right now.
Help out some pregnancy centers.
I would volunteer at my local animal shelter and encourage others to do the same.
I want to plant trees and flower's that would help our native bird's and support our honey bee population.
I think I would like to help local disadvantaged or at-risk children and teens gain more access to school programs and support. Thank you for the giveaway!
I will have a community garden and offer free class of learning how to recycle.
I would offer child sitting for those in need. I know how hard it is to go to the doctor, shop or have a moment away when you can't afford it. I think this is something a lot of parents would appreciate.
I would teach more kids about why we need wetlands!
I would set up an easy and simple way of recycling. It's ridiculously difficult around here. When I first started recycling I drove around my town for an hour trying to figure out where to take the stuff I had collected. No one I know recycles because they don't know how and after I explain it they won't put forth the effort to drive so far out of their way to drop the collected things off.
I already help my community by helping spay and neuter homeless cats to end the population explosion! I want to help organizations that advocate for animals
