HilLesha O’Nan resides in Indiana with her husband, two children, and a Maltese named Bali. She has been in the Marketing and Advertising field since she was 17 years old. Alongside with her mother, they launched their first website in 2004, and now they currently have three blogs – Fashion Fling, To the Motherhood, and The Beauty Counter.

HilLesha recently participcated in our Gillette Venus campaign and is an active member of our community. We were anxious to find out more about her, so we recently caught up with HiLesha to find out about her life, in her words, and this is what we found out.

I live in... Southern Indiana.

My niche for To the Motherhood... Is lifestyle and travel.

I write when... My daughter is taking a nap or while she's watching one of her favorite TV shows on Netflix.

How has blogging changed my life: Blogging has changed my life by helping me meet many like-minded individuals.

A brand I have loved working with? I enjoyed working with Princess Cruises last spring.

I started blogging in.... 2004

How I see the future of blogging/social media: Blogging and social media both have come a long way since I first started, and both are constantly evolving. Therefore, I'm excited to see what the future holds for blogging and social media.

Where I work: I mostly work at my desk. Sometimes, I'll work at an internet café or hotel room when I'm traveling.

I am connected... 98% of the time.

When I’m stressed... I love to get in touch with nature by hitting one of my favorite trails. I also love to cuddle up with a good book, catch up with one of my favorite TV shows on the DVR or Netflix, or go the gym - releasing those endorphins is a natural stress reliever!

My favorite gadget...Is my DSLR.

My favorite travel destination is... South Dakota. Even though I have traveled internationally, I'll always love South Dakota since it holds so many good memories when I first traveled there as a child!

My favorite clothing brand is... Rachel Pally. Their clothing is effortlessly chic and comfortable.

I do all my shopping at... Target for basic, home décor, or clothing needs and local natural/organic grocery stores for food.

My favorite TV shows: The Walking Dead, Revenge, and Pretty Little Liars.

My favorite movie: My all-time favorite movie is Big Fish.

Coffee or tea: Tea.

I love...Photography, traveling, history, and music.

I dream about...Learning to play the guitar someday.
