    I like the classics just the way they are and wouldn't change them. If there are changes to these original tales, they should be called something different or adaptations. I think the stories should stay the same throughout time.

    I would have liked to see this movie be more of just a non-animated version, rather than to see this "modernization". No one wants to see a modernization of The Wizard of Oz, or any other classic book/movie...if the story you want to tell is more modem, tell it, but call it what it is: a different story lol! I don't know, I guess I just feel like if it's not broke, then you shouldn't try to fix it...just my opinion...

    I don't see a problem with making the Disney princesses more independent and smarter in their decisions. I do love the way Sleeping Beauty was modernized into Maleficient. That movie was great. Nowadays though, with all of the Disney Princesses still being idolized by children of all ages, I don't think it is wrong to give the princesses a more independent stance instead of being the damsel in distress. I loved in Frozen how they pointed out how dumb it was to marry a guy she just met on the first day. LOL.

    I love the classics. Sometimes change is good, but...why mess with perfection.

    I have loved the modern versions as much as the classics. Just a different way to watch it.
