We have to cut back. The price of everything is exploding!! while our wages are not. :(

We will probably cheapen our vacation, maybe camping close to home.

We will be traveling because our trips are already paid for. If not we would be home for the summer. However we will not be driving. Flying and Cruising out of the city we live in.

Since prices have gotten so high and gas is outrageous, we got an old plastic jar and put a hole in the lid. Everynight, we put our silver change (and I even see a bill or two) in the jar. It is slowly filling up but when it is full, we plan on using that change to do something for ourselves. We may even use it for a Christmas present fund...who knows but this is our way of trying to put a bit of cash away. We normally dont even count our change as money, like we do the paper money....now we do in a different way....

I got laid off in March from a place where I had worked almost 7 years. I am now trying to get into a medical diploma program and finish school so I can hopefully get a decent job soon. Needless to say I won't be going on vacation for a while....
