As a kid, I had a huge debate with myself about if I would become an Olympics gymnast or ice skater. Sadly, I wasn't very skilled at either sport, but I did enjoy the dream!

They are all wonderful but Dorothy Hamill was by far my favorite of those listed. I have watched the ice skating events since I was a little girl and always dreamed that someday I would be able to do those beautiful and graceful moves. Yeah-well that never happened. I cannot ice skate for a lick. I was however very good at roller skating in my younger days.

I've been lucky enough to see some of these ladies skate, along with Scott Hamilton. What an experience!

I'll always cheer for people who can land upright on skates and are willing to wear sequins on their butts for the world to stare at!

My daughter was barely 3 and could say Kristi Yamaguchi! My daughter started figure skating when she was 13. Should have known..... Seeing professionals live is awesome. A lot of strength and athletics.

I used to have the Dorothy Hamill haircut.... I would ice or roller skate in the backyard so I could be just like her.

I dreamed for my daughter. She skated for many years and competed up until 12 when she moved on to other things.

Love to watch the women skate. I never had the balance or grace for it.
