I had problems with this razor. My skin seemed very irritated after using this razor with so many blades.

I hate giving bad reviews, but Gillette and it's Venus Olay Blades left me no choice. There is just no way of getting past the amount of slime that is coated on the leg. Not oh too much of a good thing. It was the stringy slime, and it got everywhere. In hopes to find some redeeming point, I focused on a different aspect. 5 blades should be easy to pile on the good points. There were two setbacks to enjoying the smooth super close shave five blades should get. The pads of lotion were too large to let the blades get to my skin, and the slime of the lotion made it hard to the blades to latch on the hair to cut.

Not worth the extra money, the olay bar lasted for one shower.

I really wanted to like these. Gillette men's razors have been my favorite for a long time so when they started making these for women, I was super excited. Unfortunately, they just don't work. I appreciate the attempt at the added moisturizer but the pads don't allow the razors to get the kind of close shave I've come to expect. I still prefer to use my boyfriend's razor.

I thought i would love this razor since you dont have to use shaving cream. Well, i didnt like it at all. The razor is so akward since it has the lotion and the cream pieces on it. I couldnt get around my knees because the head of the razor is so large. I definitly still needed to use shaving cream. I tried to go with out it, but i ended up with razor burn. I definitly will not be buying this razor.

I like this razor, not as well as I do other's, the shape of the razor head is hard to shave my facial hair, like upper my lip. The razor head is off balance I have to work harder to get it to shave straight . It does give a close shave that will last about 2 days, I just think they need to redesign the head

I received the Venus Olay Razor in my P&G box. I was very excited to try it! I normally use Venus razors, and vaguely recall trying this razor in the past. Once I got it in my kit, I put it to work the same day. The razor has the moisturizing bars on both sides, and let me tell you, the bars smell great. The razor definitely provides a knickless shave, but I noticed it does not provide a crazy close shave like other Venus razors. Although it gets rid of visible hair, legs feel as though they were shaved 12 hours ago after shaving, versus the super silky shave that regular Venus cartridges provide. I am wondering if this razor does not provide a crazy close shave, simply because the moisturizing bars sit up too high on the edges of the razor. I have read that many people notice the bars disintegrate quickly, and after a week, there are sharp plastic nubs that stick out of the sides, making the razor cartridge unusable. This definitely provides a knickless and fast shave, but it is not as close of a shave as other razors provide. It is great if you are in a rush and just need to shave to get to the beach or something. It did not provide any additional moisturizing in my opinion. I will be sticking to my regular Venus cartridges.

Wasn't a big fan of this razor...I didn't like the fact that it wasn't a close enough shave, on top of the fact that even though it had the moisturizers on the razor head, I STILL had to use shaving cream, which I hate! I will be sticking with my regular razor!

I was so excited to try this razor, I was really dissapointed with it, did not give a close shave, did not feel moisturized and the refills are very pricey

While I did not gets nicks and cuts the razor got a bit sticky and gooey and I had to rinse and tap constantly. I do not like it as it is now but I will try it again when they iron out the kinks. It was fun to try and Olay is a wonderful brand to team up with. Good luck!

I don't think it does as good of a job as it could. I still use them because I get them for free or almost free with coupons but I don't think I would other wise.

I wasn't very happy with this. It had too much lotion on it so I couldn't get a close shave. Also, it left a film that I needed to wash off after shaving and the lotion caused the blades to dull quicker than normal.

I liked this razor! My legs stayed soft for days. The only thing was it felt a little bulky when I was shaving my ankles and knees. I couldn't really tell where The line started or ended so I missed some and had to repeat shaving a couple of times.

Worked better on my legs because my hair is softer. I feel like one of the moisture bars might fall off when I shave and I don't feel I get that close of a shave. I prefer the disposable Venus razors.

I just bought the Venus and Olay razor blade and wasn't too happy with it. I love Venus and the Olay greatly helps in adding mositure for a smother shave but I couldn't even completely shave before the Olay strips started falling off! So half of my shaving job was smooth and the other half gave me a rash because I was only using the razor! I love Venus for the fact that they have razors that don't require shaving cream, but I don't know if I will buy the Olay ones again if they keep falling off! And it is a sad fact that I love Venus so much and can't use another brand because Venus gives the best shave because they are very expensive! I wish they would be cheaper, but I keep buying them.
