In recent weeks, the new judge of The Voice has stirred controversy over her decision to stop wearing make-up, saying "I don't want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing."

What do you think - is this ground-breaking, or no big deal? If you wear make-up, would you ever go without?

It feels ground-breaking, though it shouldn't be a big deal. It isn't necessarily conventional, especially for a celebrity, but she's being a great role model to show that people should be who they want - it's not hurting anyone else!

I agree, it feels ground breaking for hollywood but not for non-celebs! I don't wear makeup most days personally. Applause for Alicia Keys making a point to do what she feels is right for her body. Makeup vs. no-makeup, it's each person's decision and they should not be judged either way.

Saw her discuss this on a news show recently and think it's great that she's choosing to go make up free. It's a choice that every woman has.

Since I don't wear makeup I better say its no big deal. hahaha. I'm happy she is doing it.

Fantastic. She is beautiful either way. All women should pay attention, we don't need a lot of makeup to be beautiful. It is our minds and our souls which are beautiful, which come shining through no matter what we look like.

It should not be a big deal at all. I commend her for this. Be who you are and be proud of it. I don't wear makeup all week because I work from home and it very liberating!

I'm not surprised at the hype since it's show biz, but I think it's a great idea. It sends a positive message that we're fine as we are.
