oops me again, sorry i forgot to say that they also make the cobroxin in a topical gel also which would probably work better because you could rub it deeper in the muscle.

Kerriann, spoke with my sister, it is biofreeze. She got it from a message therapist and she said it's around $10. Thanks, I am okay. Hope this brings some relief for you.

I had this problem a few years ago adn was told about a book by Peggy Brill called "The Core". Best investment I ever made. After doing the simple 15 minute routine for only 3 days, I was virtually pain free. That was something that weeks of going to a chiropractor and physical therapist did not do. I now perform the exercises on a regular basis to prevent a recurrence.

I also have lower back pain and neck pain to. The back pain for me is degenerative disc disease. And I go to a pain clinic were they give me a shot and it does hurt , i want lie to you, but it does help for a while. I also take medication for the pain, I feel for you. They told me because of the disease i could possible be in a wheel chair and I am only 38 years old. I have 5 kids and they told me carrying my babys put a strain on my back...........good luck to you!

I have lower back pain and pains in my shoulders and neck but mine is from scoliosis! It's hard to deal with back pain mostly if you have a lot of running around! My doc gives me tremodol and baclofen and together they work great! He told me physical therapy is the best bet for most back problems so you can strengthen the muscles so it takes more stress on it to hurt! So since I don't know what meds you can or do take if I were you I would go try physical therapy! Best of luck!!

massage and/or physical therapy have been helpful for me, as was a pain clinic. I'm still not pain free, even after surgery, but it is bearable. Good luck in finding some relief for your pain.
