I found that acupuncture helped me immensely. For my lower back the Dr put needles behind my knee. I also had needles in my neck and down the side of my spine and in my calves. I have been in a few car accidents and I have worked on my feet for years. I had tried chiropractors pain killers, heat etc and this worked the best for me.,

I am in a world of mess because of my back. I have to see the orthopedist and pain specialist regularly. I Suggest you first see an orthopedist. Then a chiropractor. I would recommend a TENS unit. I Have the prescribed ones. The OTC ones don't work for the severity of my pain. But I have friends that love them. Walgreens carries one for around $30. Physical Therapy is good and if you can't afford it go on pinterest and search for things that will help AFTER you are diagnosed. Heat and ice rotations are good.. And rest as much as you can while it heals.

Unfortunately in my experience. Once you start having chronic back pain. Its hard to be pain free. Its seems to b some are good days and some bad. If you don't want surgery. You can go pain pill route and that is a never ending monster. I usually do hot baths and heating pad. Never tired chiropractor route but many people do. I do think when u are in good shape. It helps with everything.
