Start early shopping for school supplies
Plan ahead and have a routine ready!
We get back into a sleeping and waking routine a week before school starts so that all of us are ready for the first day and are not too exhausted when the first day arrives.
Organization ahead of chaos
I GET ALL OF MY SUPPLIES IN ADVANCE SO I AM READY FOR THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS.
I have my kids get used to an early bedtime and wake up schedule weeks before schools starts!
My tip is to stock the fridge and pantry with convenient snacks for lunch boxes. There are some good sales now.
My tip is to check weekly ads for staples and other office-stores regularly for getting good deals on school supplies.
Getting everything ready the night before...crucial in our household and helps the mornings run smoothly!
Once I pick up my daughter from school, I ask her if she has homework. It has to be completed by the time I arrive home from work. That way if she needs assistance from me or my husband, she has it & we aren't staying up late to finish it.
I take inventory of leftover pencils, paper, etc... then make a list and shop the sales :)
Reuse notebooks just tear out used sheets
Making an organized planner helps me get ready for back to school
No back to school, last child just graduated from college.
I make a homework box with pens, pencils, paper, etc. That way everything is one spot when it's homework time!
