Young athletes today might not be elite athletes (yet), but they love to play sports. But today, they might feel like nobodies, with big dreams of being somebodies. POWERADE believes that with the right motivation these everyday athletes can realize their potential and one day be the athletes that they look up to. POWERADE is celebrating this potential in the “Just A Kid” campaign. We want to hear about how you support young athletes and the story behind what helped him or her reach their full potential.

My stepson plays basketball and football has even tried baseball. He is an all around great kid and keeps his grades up in all classes. He even does morning announcements. Test out everything he can to find out what he likes is great. He's found out he doesn't care to play football.
My son loves all sports. His dream is become a NBA player. He works hard to improve his game. He also loves to run in marathons he always ranks I'm the top 5 of his age group. I support anything my son wants to do.
My nephews love baseball and I think that baseball positively impacts the youngest one; so I support him 100%. thank you for the opportunity
My son had really low self esteem until we got him in sports and his coach was so great at giving them all a chance to play. He was able to make lots of friends and got so confident. my4boysand1@gmail.com
My daughter loves boxing. She goes every day and I've noticed that she has more discipline, patience and now she's stronger.
My nephew is into Football, Track, & wrestling, he is 16 and tring to get into college
Awesome, I tweeted! Good luck to everyone :)
We are not a very sports oriented family. No one plays anything. But we love to watch baseball. I can't wait to start going to some home games. It's going to be a blast!
My son plays soccer. This has really helped him to interact with other kids his age
Still like Tim Tebow
I support our local high school athletes. Its important to be a strong back bone and help keep them on track to prosper in a sport they enjoy. As an adult, you realize life is easier when you enjoy your decisions. A kid that enjoys sports and can use that platform in school, will be successful in college and help push them into the adult career world.
My daughter is in her 3rd spring season of softball ( we've also played 2 seasons of fall ball) her grades have came up and since she first stepped on that field, her confidence has sky rocketed!! She also learned shes a pretty talented catcher! First string catcher to be exact! :)
My son plays son and loves it. His dad and I are his biggest fans.
Just taught my Grandson how to catch a football this weekend. Would love to win a shirt for him
