Congrats to our winner, cece03!
I'd like to help small towns have more expansive recycling programs that could handle not only aluminum and paper but also plastic and glass. With so many plastic bottles in my own household, keeping them out of landfills will reduce the size and numbers of those we have to have going forward.
Plant flowers and trees.
I would like to more programs to help the homeless and veterans who are in need
We definitely need more funding for our schools, as well as more volunteers! Our kids lunch rates are iutrageous, as well as the schools just being run-down and old. We also need more sports organizations/clubs for the students! I'd like to help our schools, the children are our future, right?
#OneWayToHelpOurCommunity is by creating programs to help further education within local cities, especially poverty striken communities with higher violence and no outlets for many youth like here in #CT.
I would like to teach my kids about taking care of the environment & picking up after themselves & pick up trash in our community
I buy local and always recycle.
#OneWayToHelp my community would be to have them make a donation to the Boys and Girls clubs. I feel we need to work for a better society at the youth level.
#OneWaytoHelp #entry #OH Is to do a kind thing for someone at least once a day!!! Even if it's to smile at them, hold a door open, etc.
I would like more free enrichment programs for teens in NYC. It is so difficult for them at this age, and they easily fall through the cracks. Either the kids have to be in college or in elementary/middle school, and it's not fair. If there are things for teens to do, it is expensive to enroll or a case-by case basis. It would be great for them to have a more creative outlet then running the streets and getting into trouble.
I would help local programs to provide gang outreach activities for kids to help combat the spike in gang shootings in Portland, Oregon.
I would help by cleaning up litter around the neighborhood.
work towards making sure that no one is hungry....get local grocery stores and restaurants to donate unused and expiring food b4 it gets bad
more recycling programs
beach clean up
