When it comes to the art of gift giving there's so much to consider. How do you come up with an idea? It's always tricky deciding whether they will like what you have in mind or if they already have it. You may prefer to get a list from people so you can choose something you know they want or perhaps you just pick up on subtle (or not so subtle) hints and make your own. How do you find most of the presents that you give to friends and family? Do you shop at local stores and boutiques, order online, shop at retail stores, order though catalogues or create fabulous homemade gifts?
We'd like to help a little with this season's gift buying and gather the collective experience from SheSpeaks members, gifts you've received that just keep on giving or gifts you've given that have been a huge hit. We'd like to hear them all!
To be entered to win one of our prizes this week, simply create a review for a gift you or your children have received and loved, and please include a recommended age if it is for a child.

I recently got the Scrabble card game, Slam! as a child's gift and we had a lot of fun playing this card game forming four letter words (the nice kind).
by: lynnxx77 1 minute ago I love the Sephora Fragrance Sampler , It is the one gift I ask for every year. The one I got was a little different. I got 12 sample vials and a certificate for a full size bottle of my choice. I love the fun of trying all the different scents and seeing which ones I love the most then going shopping months later to pick my favorite. This is the best gift for any woman. Sure to please.
I love the OralB tooth brushes!! I only buy the OralB brand. I do not have a electric one, though I would love to have one!! I think a electric one could get teeth cleaner.
I think the younger generation would love the wine chiller. Who does not love chocolate. I really think if I had to pick one it would be the oral B power toothbrush; our teeth are so important.
I have worked at a dentist office in the past and have seen how well the OralB toothbrush cleans. It does an excellent job. Due to cost I haven't been able to use it personally but have seen the results in patients oral hygeine. Would love to get one!
These contests are bogus, Fat chance anyone will really get a prize!!!!
My Nook Color Ereader!! I love to read and is so easy to carry with me and have a book handy anytime I have a spare moment for a chapter or 2!! Also a great space saver for cookbooks and since the reader is in color, all the pictures are just as yummy looking as a regular cookbook!!
One word - CHOCOLATE! Who doesn't love chocolate? Every year I buy my father and my son Lindt chocolate truffles at Christmas and other special occasions. I also get excited when I tear open my gift wrap and find a box of Godiva! I have also given a box of Godiva as a 'thank you' to a neighbor for watching our pet while we have gone for the weekend. Anytime is a good time for chocolates!
My husband got the Zibra ZPCOPEN-OR Open It Universal Package Opener last year from my parents. We use it at our house at least once a week - it is super handy! They are sold on amazon and are relatively inexpensive. They are the perfect gift for the man who has everything.
My favorite gift that I received was the Taylor Swift Speak Now CD. I love the music and it is something I can listen to everyday and makes me smile. I recommend this music for everyone and it is a CD that I never get tired of and makes the perfect gift.
i like the Phillips wake up light. Makes getting up a little easier.
I added a review for my Nook I got for Christmas last year (2010) and man was that fun. I love my Nook. I take it with me everywhere. Anywhere where I might have to kill some time before an appointment or meeting. It's the best gift I have ever gotten.
One year I gave fleece blankets to each of my nieces and nephews (ages 2-12). I used fabric paint to add their names. To this day, they still use them and they have gone to college with each of them. I've even had to make them for each new child. It was affordable, personal and practical.
I added and reviewed BIO OIl>>>>>>>>>> awesome stuff..... check it out!
I reviewed the Bright Starts - Tug Tunes - PIG! Recommended age: 0-6 months
