An outfit isn't complete without the right accessories. From the shine of real diamonds to the glow of fantastic replicas, a little or a lot of jewelry can deliver just the right look. Perhaps a little black dress with the perfect necklace or a showstopper silhouette with understated earrings, either way accessories can be the perfect accent to any ensemble.
And like with our clothing, it's an opportunity to reveal a bit of our personality. It's a glimpse into who we are, our taste and our style. We can go a bit wild with it one day and be a bit more restrained the next. We can borrow our friend's, sister's, or mom's and not have to worry that we're not the right "size." Some pieces last us as season and others a lifetime.
We want to know what you love about accessories. Do you have a favorite piece that you just can't live without? Is jewelry always at the top of your holiday wish list? Do you have accessories that have been passed down through the family that you treasure? Which pieces give you the fondest memories? What stores do you love? Which stores do you frequent?
Hats, rings, scarves, boots, we want to hear what you love the most. Post a review or what you love about accessories to this blog and you'll be entered to WIN some amazing accessories of your own! The contest starts November 1st and ends November 7th at 6:00 p.m. EST.

i love the way accessories can add a spot of color to an outfit adn the way they can direct your eye to things you wan to emphasize and take your eye away from what you dont want noticed
I like stores like "this and that" which is in the town that I live in. They have $1.25 jewelry and you can get a lot for a little. I like buying cute things that I can wear with almost anything. The look-a-like pearls are my favorites. You can wear them with dressy outfits or with casual outfits and they make you look cute no matter what.
I love that you can have a pretty basic outfit to begin with and turn it into something completely "wow" with the right accessories. Whether it be great earrings and a necklace to to bring some bling to the outfit or the perfect purse to accent it, the possibilities are endless!
I always wear this frog necklace that my son (husband) got me when he was 1 :) It's my favorite thing to wear.
The Gloves are to DIE for ! pair them up with that amazing beanie & call it a winter night out shopping ! LUV !
I think accessories are great because they can make or break an outfit. It's a fun risk that women are willing to take just for the outcome of making a decent appearance look fantastic.
Accessories can make or break an outfit. Even placement can change a look, and most survive a person's weight changes. Unlike most clothing. I love anything different, that has a story behind it-can be sentimental (passed down through the family, or marking an occasion), classic and timeless, a real find at a store, or inspired by art or cultures. My favorite accessory to wear is jewelry, but I make most of my own. So, next would be hats. As for designer items bought, those would be scarves with patterned designs. But, then you need big bags to haul all your stuff home.
I love to wear jewelry! It doesn't have to be the "real deal" , just something that I like. I like jewelry with larger clasps. As I get older, it becomes harder to close the small clasps on necklaces and bracelets.
i adore earrings and the way they can brighten your face and transform any outfit.
I love anything sterling silver, always have, always will. I was never a gold person, until my husband (fiance at the time) bought me a white gold engagement/wedding ring set from Walmart that was interlocking and very antique looking. This was my favorite piece of jewelry, and everyone I met commented on it wondering if it was passed down from family. Unfortunately I lost my ring while having a blast at Blue Man Group with my husband this winter. :(
I love short necklaces that have a big design! Also - matching earrings!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE wearing big rings. The more fun, wacky, and unique, the better:) I don't have any jewelry that has been passed down unfortunately. I usually sticky with black or silver earrings and necklaces, then go bold on the ring:)
I have a favorite pair of simple silver hoop earrings that I just love. Not only because they are the perfect accessory for any outfit, but because I bought them while traveling in Russia, so they always remind me of that happy time.
My mother was a short, Queen Elizabeth type, Southern lady. Her jewelry was mostly classic and understated. However, she had just a few really striking pieces. I have inherited these. They are not costly but they are priceless in sentimental value as well as offer me priceless beauty because they are so beautiful. These are pieces from the mid-1950s. One ins a double strand of clear white and black quartz. This stuff is heavy. But so beautiful. I wear it with a beautiful set of clip on black quartz earrings that splay up the curve of my earlobe (not dangles). I never fail to receive compliments and oooossss and ahahahahas when I wear them. I have a collection of classic pearls and gold and silver, but I enjoy a few statement necklaces and earrings as well. You know, we all have to get "out of the box" sometimes.
A friend wears a big Onyx and Diamond Ring on her forefinger. It's her signature piece, I just love that.
