I can't say that I was surprised. I recently read that she was looking disheveled and acting erratically. Of course, its sad.

It was shocking! Like finding out a family member died, I grew up listening to her music. Its a shame her life took the downward spiral that it did, but she was starting to come up. She has a movie thats coming out later this year, she was coming back to reality. SHE WILL BE MISSED

Yes, I was surprised. Especially since I had just read that she was possibly being considered as a judge on one of the reality talent shows. On the other hand, no it was no surprise considering her drug abuse in the past.

I was VERY surprised even considering all i have heard over the years of drug abuse. I wish she would have/could have got the help she needed in order to beat her dependency, even with all she had---she was still missing alot in her life. RIP Whitney, we will always love you.

Shocking and sad. She had one of the greatest voices I ever heard. My prayers are with her family. Rest in peace Whitney!
