I like the feel of the book and you don't have to worry about charging the battery

Nothing beats the ease of my Kindle. No more being frustrated waiting in a Dr. office, restaurant for lunch, etc, I just pull my kindle out of my purse and instantly escape into a good book! I still us paperback swap but the Kindle is my constant companion.

I love reading a real book. I tried Kindle on my phone and computer before making the purchase of one, and decided against it. I prefer to read something I can touch.

I really enjoy reading whether it is paperback or hardcover book. I would like to try a Kindle or Ipad/Tablet to see what it is like to have on the go especially when I have forgotten my book at home. But I really don't see that the Kindle or Ipad/Tablet will have the same cozy affect. Sometimes by holding the book in your hand it is easier to be apart of the story your reading. But without trying a Kindle or Tablet I can't tell you how it would be.

I have not upgrade to using a Kindle or Nook or whatever they have out there for reading books so I still read my hardcover and paperback books. I still love holding my books while I read them. I think I spend enough time on my computer that my eyes needs to rest from staring at a screen all day. Lol.

You can not replace the smell of a new or old book and the feel of the pages as you turn them, even the little smudges you put on the pages from snacking and enjoying your good read.Kindle cannot replace that!

I will always enjoy holding a real book in my hands and I have hundreds of favorite books on my shelf at home. I still buy paper books and hardbacks on occasion, but I had to have a Kindle. I do admit to not using it much at first and then switching back and forth between it and real books. Also, in the beginning I remember trying to "turn the page" on my Kindle with my hand, like I would on a real book at times. LOL But lately I've been mostly reading on my Kindle and I have a stack of paper books that I haven't gotten to backed up on my shelf that I need to read. I love books and I'd be lost without both the Kindle and my beloved paper books!

I enjoy reading whether it's paperback or hard cover. Paperbacks are so much cheaper and I enjoy the feel of a book in my hand!

The feel, smell, and sound of a book can't be beat. There is magic to be had between the pages, adventures to go on, and enjoyment that is yours alone as you get lost in the moment and share 'life' with each character. I have loved reading for a very long time. Taught myself to read at 4 because I was tired of waiting to be read to and have not stopped yet. My daughter also loves books and we are at our library weekly picking up the latest stack of fun. I have often thought it would be so enjoyable to work in a library and be around all those books! I tried reading on an electronic reader but it took the meaning and life out of the story. Hard to curl up with too.

I love the hardback books better, paperback corners seem to get all smashed up or ripped when you pass books from one household to another as our family does.
