I like to read books the old fashion way...no hassles or headaches and it is less expensive. I enjoy reading rather it be a hardback cover or paperback.
I recieved a kindle for my birthday which I really like but its not the same as holding a real book. The kindle is great for travel or appointments but you just can't beat the feel of a book in your hands.
I love reading and will never stop buying paper back or hard cover books. I have a Nook Color and an iPad and have read books on both devices but will always continue to read a real book over an ebook. Holding an ereader is nothing like getting engrossed in a traditional book.
I love the kindle app on my ipad. I can make the print any size (now that I'm older I like it to be bigger!) and it's lit so I can read in bed at night and not disturb my husband while he's sleeping. Plus now I download books from the library in my own home. I don't have to go out in crummy weather and it's instant!
I always thought I would not give up the feel of a book in my hands until I started reading them on my IPad. Now I am a true addict of reading them the modern way especially after finding Pixel of Ink on FB. Free books several times a day!
I just love to read. Hardcover 1st editions are great for collecting, and new reads, paperback for light weight tuck into bag on the go, e-books on PC for ease of not having to leave office or house to get. I've been really wanting a Kindle or other reader to carry on long trips (ease of having many books with me).
I love my Kindle because I have a bad habit of losing my place. Plus my hubby bought me a cover with a built in light. I am one of those that fall asleep with a book so it's so convenient for me.
I still love hardback books. Theres nothing like lounging on a Sunday afternoon with a book, a throw, and a cup of hot green tea,
I prefer to be able to feel the book and have the experience of flipping the pages. Plus when you have a real book, you don't have to worry about charging batteries, and it's much easier to loan the book to a friend. :)
I love my kindle. It stays charged up to a month with the wireless turned off and nothing like having a book at the touch of the button!
