I tried the Kindle at a store, but I think I will stick with the original papyrus! For one thing, I cannot afford to buy the Kindle - and couldn't justify the purchase even if I could afford it.. The activity of holding a book - paper or hardback - and turning pages is, to me, so much a part of the overall experience of reading.

My husband and I were just talking about this today! I love my new Nook Tablet. And he has a Kindle Fire but he still prefers an actual book. Me on the other hand I like reading on a tablet (Nook Tablet). I like it because I don't have to hold the pages open. I often get pain in my hands so not holding a heavy book helps that. He says he likes books because as he says what if you want to read the book again 20 years from now. He does sort of have a point with that but I still like to read on my tablet.
