Peach Ice Cream

Makes: 6 cups
A great tasting peach Ice cream
2 1/2 cups
fresh peaches (about 4 pieces of fruit) peeled pitted and pureed
half and half
1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together sugar, milk, egg yolks and salt. Place over medium high heat and whisk until mixture reaches a simmer. Lower heat to medium and whisk mixture for 5 minutes or until it begins to thicken. Strain into large bowl, then whisk in peaches, half and half cream and vanilla. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled about 2hours,
2. you can put it in an ice cream maker or scoop into serving bowls or coffee cans and freeze.
Sounds good but I have an easier one, peel and slice peaches freeze, then process in food processor with a little honey, thats it. So good and good for you its not ice cream but cold and yummy.
