I received this product to try for free from Shespeaks. I've only used this product one time so far, but I am very pleased with the results. I have very thick and wavy hair with stubborn waves. No matter how many times I run the straightening iron over my waves, you can still see a little bit of wave. After I applied this product to my damp hair, I started to blow dry my hair using my fingers as a comb and I immediately noticed that my hair was drying much straighter than normally, thus it took less time to dry since I didn't have to run the iron over my hair as much as I normally do. It left my hair feeling silky and did not weigh it down. I also like the citrusy scent of the product. I intend to purchase this product one as soon as I run out!

I received a full size sample through SheSpeaks Aveda Naturally Straight Program, and I love it! I have really thick, wavy hair that has a mind of it's own. After using Aveda Naturall Straight for a week, my hair is shiny, straight, and much easier to tame! It has cut off at least 5 minutes of my morning routine.. and it smells wonderful!

I have been searching for a product to help keep my hair straighter and smoother. I have tried all types of products. I was excited to try this since I am a naturally curlied hair gal. I loved the scent. I would definitely like to check to see if there's any shampoos, conditioners or other stylers like this product.

I have used this twice now and from the first time, it took less time to dry with a blow dryer and the brush went through my thick hair so much easier. It also took less time with the flat iron because my hair was noticeably smoother. After sleeping on it, it only takes a quick touch up and I'm ready to go! This has saved me so much time. I live in a VERY humid climate and my hair survived a rainy weekend out shopping and still looked smooth. It also smells really nice.

I received a full size sample through SheSpeaks Aveda Naturally Straight Program. My hair gets very frizzy especially with the humid weather we are having lately. Nothing works and when I step out of the house my hair starts to go all over the place with curls everywhere. The first day that I used the product I was really surprised how good my hair looked. No more frizz and it looked shiny and sleek. It's easy to apply and after blow drying my hair I got the result I was looking for. I can really recommend this product!

I just got the email from SheSpeaks with directions.. I wish I had them yesterday because my opinion is already formed. I was excited to use this because I'm tired of the damage that the flat iron does to my hair... however, the instructions on the actual bottle say - THOROUGHLY APPLY. I am a girl from the early 90s. My nickname was Rooster because believe me.. this girl knows how to thoroughly apply something (i.e. hairspray) ... lol I didn't go nuts, but I did use about 2 dime sized amounts in my hair. Dried it the rest of the way. Flat Ironed it. My hair felt so greasy the rest of the day.. I was so bummed. My hair felt icky and not clean... which made me feel icky. I joked with some friends saying that some people want their arse to look good in a pair of jeans, their tatas to be perky, etc... my thing is my hair... and a bad hair day is not good. lol I'm going to share my bottle with a friend though who is a mix ethnicity to see if it works better for her hair. Fingers crossed. I did also ask other friends of mine who received this and they seem to not have any problems. (This review doesn't really help does it.. lol) Anywho - I'd suggest updating the directions on the bottle and removing the word THOROUGHLY.

I have super thick, coarse hair and this really helped to smooth out the frizz and reduce the amount of time required to straighten. It smells really good, is easy to use, and lasted until my next Shampoo 2 days later.

I have been using Aveda Naturally Straight for about 1 week now, and this product is truly amazing. I have naturally wavy, frizzy hair that I have to color often, due to graying. I am obsessed with Aveda products and had been very curious about this product prior to receiving a full-size bottle through the SheSpeaks Aveda Naturally Straight Program. I applied a small amount of this product on my towel-dried, and used a round brush to blow-dry in sections. After I was finished drying, I was amazed at how smooth, healthy, and bouncy my hair was, and only after one-use! I didn't even need to straighten my hair like I normally do. It was not greasy or weighed down like the results from many other frizz fighters I have tried. I am definitely a fan of this product, and can't wait to see the results after a few more weeks of usage. Smells great too :)

I was eager to try this product as I've been wanting a more gentle way to get my curly hair straight without using a flat iron. I followed the directions but this didn't work. My hair was still very curly and I ended up having to use hairspray and a ton of gel. When I tried using as much of this product as my hair "needed" to keep the frizz away, it made my hair greasy. I would recommend this if you have simply wavy hair or use a flat iron. However, I don't like to flat iron my hair b/c it dries it out so much. I think I'll just remain a curly girl. Curls are gorgeous, anyway!

I received a full size sample of this product from Shespeaks. Thank you for allowing me to try it. I have wavy hair and have to straiten each day. It has controlled my friz. It does appear to hold my style longer. I have medium length hair and only need a small amount.

Wow, I have to be honest when I used this I twisted my hair tight into a bun to see if it would maybe be a little straighter without the use of heat!!! And yes it was, not only does this smell amazing my hair was not frizzy at all and really rich and shiny! I would use this as a leave in conditioner as well as a straightener it's u real

With my curly hair I could not believe anything would help me to be able to wear it straight. This product did and I love it. While it took a few washings to get it the way I wanted it it did happen. Great product and would recommend it to anyone that would like to have straight and not fuzzy hair

This is a good product. I have really curly hair and I have a hard time finding a product that will help with straightening. This helped to give it a smoother finish without being too greasy or oily. It was easy to use and made my hair look silky and healthier.

Love the ease of use. Smells wonderful and actually needed less leave in conditioner when using product. Made my hair a little more greasy than I woukd like, but it has decreased my blow drying time. Still need flat iron for a few problem areas, but overall I like this product!
