I received a full size sample of the Aveda Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight Styling Creme courtesy of SheSpeaks. First off, I love it and it smells amazing! I have super tight frizzy curly hair and I use it on my damp hair , blow dried it and lightly flat ironed and it left my hair shiny, silky and smooth. I like that it has plant derived ingredients and also it does not dry out my hair. People should know a little goes a long way.

I received my full size product last week. The first time I used the Aveeda I towel dried my hair and applied the cream. My hair is long and wavy and I always blow dry and use a flat iron or curling iron. This time I dried it and used a flat brush to try and straighten my hair, the Aveeda worked to get the wave out but I had big hair after even the flat iron. My ends looked drier too. That day I was very disappointed. When I woke the next day my hair was very smooth. I did not wash it that day which was great. I've used it since and still the first day I have very voluminous hair. The second day it is very smooth and I have not had to wash it as often. For that I am very happy. I think I need something else for the ends but I will use the cream to get the wave out of the crown of my head.

I received a complimentary full-size bottle of Aveda Naturally Straight courtesy of Aveda and SheSpeaks. I have naturally thick, coarse and frizzy hair. I have to straighten my hair daily to keep frizz and waves in checks. I used Aveda Naturally Straight with and without a hair dryer. I usually do not blow dry my hair because it leaves my hair brittle and dry. The product has a cream consistency and I can use as little or as much as I would prefer. I apply the product to my roots only and keep away from my scalp as straightening products can make my hair appear greasy. I prefer to apply the product in my hands and then smooth out roots and edges. Then I comb my hair well while still trying to keep from scalp. After this step I would either blow dry or allow my hair to air dry, depending on my mood or temperature. I did follow up with a flat iron after first application and noticed my hair was still smooth and straight three days after using Aveda Naturally Straight. The second week of use I was able to skip the flat iron and have straight hair even after washes for up to five days. Aveda Naturally Straight did help minimize frizz but on a humid day a little assistance from other products may be needed. Overall, I noticed a difference and my hair remained straight days after application. Keeping the flat iron off my hair helps minimize damage, which is a plus.

I used it when I got it and did sections of my hair like suggested then blow dried it, it stayed smooth and felt good for a while then before the night was up it was frizzed up again and the next day my chin and forehead broke out. I did not have to use a straightener just a brush but I might try again with the hair straightener.

I received my free sample and used it on my 6 yr old after confirming with Aveda that it was safe. She has very thick curly hair that causes daily fights and tears. I think it worked well but she did not like the blow drying process. It takes a long time with her hair. We will use again but probably not everyday as I don't have the patience to blow dry her hair for that long with her complaining the whole time.

I have naturally wavy hair and I feel this product helped out making my hair a little bit straighter. What I liked most was the fact that is tamed the frizz and made my hair feel and look smoother. I liked that the smell was very mild and I couldn't feel the product in my hair, it was very light. I do think that mousse at the roots would be helpful since it does make my hair very smooth.

I used the Aveda Naturally Straight hair product and I have fine hair that is a little wavy. The product made my hair look a little oily. I never have oily looking hair even If I don't wash it for a week. It did seem to tame the frizzy part a little. I don't know if I can keep using this because it makes my hair look oily.

I'm so excited to use it and the results is better than expected but still need flat iron for perfect straight hair.

Only giving 3 stars. The product is too heavy, and I only used a little. My hair wasn't frizzy, but it felt weighed down, almost dirty. I followed the directions, then used the flat iron. I used for four days, but had to stop. It might be okay if your hair is VERY curly, but mine is not.

Have used the sample provided by She Speaks for a couple of days now - has slowed drying time by about 15 minutes, hair is smoother and softer and less frizzy ! Enjoy Aveda products and usually purchase them after using a sample or trial version first - great find for anyone who wants to cut down drying time and keep fly aways - away!

The first day that I used the product I did not notice my hair being easier to straighten, but I did notice a lack of frizz. I have used it for the past 5 days, and while it has toned down the wave in my hair a little, the biggest impact has been in overall frizz reduction -which is great! I do not care for the smell when you apply it, but the scent goes away quickly so that's not too big of a problem.

I received a free sample from SheSpeaks and Aveda in exchange for my honest opinion. I have very long wavy hair that is a little on the thin side because of the extreme length. I was a little nervous to try this product because I was worried that the formula was going to weigh my hair down causing it to become even more thin... So not the case! i cant even tell that my hair has any product in it it feels so silky and I have not had to use my flat iron since I have started using the product I am absolutely in love with this product and I will be purchasing much more in the future.

This product does what it claims that it will do. I have naturally curly, somewhat frizzy hair. On the first day of use, my hair felt smoother, with less kink. It held the blow out without curling back up. Some products tend to dry out the hair, but not the case here. My hair felt soft and smooth, and the product smelled great as well. I did need to adjust the amount used to find just the right sized dollop for my hair, but that was pretty easy.

I have been using this product for about a week now and I am in LOVE. My hair has a really obnoxious wave to it that no one would ever want. Since I have been using this product I have barely had to use my flat iron at all. My hair seems to only need a little "polishing" with the flat iron after I blow dry my hair. I have also noticed that the amount of frizz I have has dropped dramatically! The other thing that I have absolutely loved about it is that it lasts for more than 1 day! I only wash my hair every 3 or 4 days to keep it healthier and the straighness and lack of frizz stay for that long!! Thanks Aveda!
