I was so happy with the results of this product. Most products that promise straight hair deliver it but they also deliver a heavy, oily feeling that I hate and that makes me have to wash my hair much sooner than I'd like. This one is light-weight and kept my hair smooth and frizz-free despite the humidity I subjected it to. It even stayed great-looking after a workout, which is highly unusual for me!! I would recommend the product and will definitely buy it when my sample runs out.

The product is very easy to use, and after only two uses, my hair is smoother and easier to blow dry. The product doesn't weigh down my hair and the resilts lasted even in humidity

I received the Aveda Smooth Infusion free from SheSpeaks. I am amazed at how well this product actually works. I was skeptical because I have tried other products that claimed to do something similar with bad results. I washed my hair sectioned it and applied the product as indicated in the instructions. Then I used my blow dryer and paddle brush to blow dry it straight and followed up with my flat iron. WOW, my hair has never felt softer and more hydrated and it is so shiny, smooth and frizz free. I have used a total of 4 times and my hair has stayed really straight and smooth for 2 washes so far! I will continue to use and I have already recommend it to my friends!

I received a full size free sample of this product from aveda/shespeaks and I am addicted for life! The first thing I noticed was the smell which is very high end smelling for a hair product the bottle says it is a blend of bergamot and sandalwood. I have found myself smelling my hair all week. The product does EXACTLY what it claims to do it reduces frizz, and reduces the time it takes my to style my hair straight. The first day or two the only benefit I noticed was a reduction in frizz and an improvement in texture. After using this product for a week I have noticed that my hair is way straighter I can blow dry my hair with a paddle brush in about 6 minutes and get the same effects that used to require a round brush and at least 12 minutes of intense tugging and pulling. The texture of my hair feels amazing too I don't have to use a leave in conditioner before I can comb through my hair like I had before because my hair is silky smooth right out of the shower. I really can't say enough good things about this life saving product.

I am in love! I am Greek, and have long, thick, frizzy hair. I thought this would be great because I straighten my hair all the time. I used too much the first time. Please, use sparingly! A little goes a long way! The smell is fantastic, a mix of citrus and mint. This is my 4th day using it. My hair is visibly softer, straighter, and shiny! Due to the consistency of my hair, it's hard to find a product that doesn't feel heavy or disgusting. The Aveda straightening cream is highly recommended, and definitely worth the price!

OMG-I am SO glad I was accepted into the review of Aveda Naturally Striaght!! Just after the first use, I knew this is a product I could not live without. Yes, it is very smoothing but still provides amazing fullness at the same time. I am not sure how it works but it almost seems as it seals in the moisture. It takes me less time to dry my hair and when I am done, the gentle curl of my round brush stays in nicely. My hair has a healthy, smooth and shiny finish. This is only the second product I have found that I could not live without. I am thrilled! Now I just have to see which of my favorite stores carry it. It wiil last me a long time as you do not need much. The scent is a light citrus fragrance. Thank you, thank you SheSpeaks. If I hadn;t been chosen for the test, I would never have found this product.

I received the product and was pleasantly surprised. It made my hair softer, smoother in just one application. I have very thick, frizzy hair that is wavy rather than curly. This helped make it more manageable. The scent is strong, but other than that, no complaints. As many others have said, a little goes a long way so don't apply more than needed.

I was skeptical that this would really smooth my hair. Past smoothing products that I have tried have all come up short of my expectations. I was therefore pleasantly surprised at how well Aveda smoothing cream worked for my hair. After the first application my hair was decidedly smoother and shinier. The second application had the previous mentioned benefits but my hair felt more voluminous and stayed straight longer. I'm sure that my next application will provide the same with an even longer wear. The smell of this product is also amazing. The ingredients are the best and Aveda has me sold on this awesome product!

I received a free sample from shespeaks / aveda and couldn't believe how much I loved this product! Whenever I buy hair products, I am very conscious of the smell, as I have many allergies to floral smelling products. The scent of this is great - not floral at all. More of a sandlewood smell. My hair gets really frizzy quickly with even a small amount of humidity and this helped immensely. Even my 10 year old commented on how smooth my hair looked. I will definitely be purchasing this product again and again!

I received the full size AVEDA Smooth Infusion from SheSpeaks. I tried it this morning for the first time---so far so good! I have very thick hair down to about the middle of my back, so, as directions suggested, I used a little more than the the coin size. The only difficult part was applying it one section at a time, as in the directions. Once it's in your hands it's a bit difficult to control the amount you apply to each "section". That said, I think I used the right amount for my hair(not too much more than suggested), and I felt I distributed it fairly evenly. I usually let my hair air dry, but it said to blow dry...so I did. It seemed like it dried a bit quicker, and my hair was very easy to comb through. The SMELL is GREAT!!!! My hair has a natural wave, and is pretty frizzy. It did seem to tame down the frizzies fairly well , considering this was my first application. If I remember correctly...it said that it will smooth frizzy hair after a few weeks of using it after each wash. So, I am hopeful that after each wash, it will get a little more managable each time. I will continue to use it anyway...just for the immidiate effects it has!!! GREAT PRODUCT!

I received a complimentary sample of Aveda Smooth Infusion and have been very pleased with the results. I don't regularly blow dry my hair and I don't own a flat iron so I have been using the product to combat frizz and loosen my curls. I don't love the scent but I also don't hate it and it doesn't give me a headache as many products, too, so I would say it is good for those of us with fragrance sensitivities. I have been using it a few days a week and am seeing improvements in frizziness even during some periods of high humidity. It would be even better if it smelled like the Brilliant or Shampure lines :-)

I have wavy dry color treated aged hair and tried this product after shampooing and conditioning. I dried it and used a round brush and the results were remarkable. My hair was smooth,shiny and straight. I received many complements throughout the day about my hair and it's shiny color. I loved how after only 2 uses my hair was smooth and more manageable. It looks as if I had a professional salon blowout. I am excited to see how the next few washes improve the condition and manageability of my hair.
