I have been wanting to use Mineral foundations and just opted to try this one out. Have been using this foundation since several weeks and have noticed the slight shimmer but that is what makeup does, the "shimmer" reflects the light to minimize any imperfections of your skin. I have found that you cannot use a different type of concealer or pressed powder with it. I apply my concealer after my foundation and I found that it turned the color of the mineral makeup and got cakey where I had applied the concealer. It does have good effective coverage, but be sure not to use too much as the more you apply the darker your tone will become. I think it's quicker too than applying a liquid foundation, then concealer, then pressed powder. It doesn't have impressive staying power, however I've heard of a trick of misting hairspray in the air and then putting your face through the mist that seems to help your makeup last longer, but this doesn't work for everyone. I love this product! Typically with a mineral powder I still feel like I have to use a foundation in order to get the coverage I want. With this I dust it on my face, smooth it up with a powder brush and go. Any thing that cuts the time it takes to do my make up in the morning is highly recommended. The color always blends perfectly with my skin.

Great to set foundation! I really like this powder because it really helps set my liquid foundation under. It's also not a very pricey item and well worth its value. I love that it doesn't make me too "cakey" when I apply it. The brush that already comes with the product is very convenient too.

Amazing When You Use the Secret: This product, y'all. I love it -- not by itself, but in conjunction with other products, it's fantastic. I always (always always always) start off with a primer so it has something to stick to. Then, I use a tinted moisturizer for the same reason. The two products I love for this is the Maybelline Baby Skin primer, and the Neutrogena Acne Cover & Correct tinted moisturizer. This trio is a winning combo! Remember: primer, tinted moisturizer, THEN the mineral makeup. Thank me later!

Revlon Mineral Foundation This goes on and lasts all day providing great coverage , however I had a few issues with it weighing heavy on my skin causing acne.

Revlon got it right again Excellent product. Not heavy or cakey, long lasting as well as light weight. Will definitely purchase again! I enjoyed it as a combo skin customer, might not be as positive if oily skin.

This was just ok,It tended to make my face look pasty and define mt blemishes rather than hide them! It was hard to get it even too!

This is a great way for someone wanting to try the overall look of mineral foundation without the costly investment! When I tried it...I didn't have any problems and it was a great way to show me if mineral powder would be the right choice for me! I didn't have the overall the itching like people have stated..however, I didn't like the fact that because my skin is oily and I have larger pores, the minerals SANK into them and I needed to re-apply! Please Note..I have tried several mineral foundations...all have had the same effect on my skin!

i got this because it suppose to be natural but as a first time user i didnt know how toi apply and made my face look uneven tone i hate it.....grrr

it's not for combination or oily skin. the shades aren't for people with olive complexions but this works well for covering discoloration or beauty marks.
