I thought the movie was really good the book was better but still a great movie. the only thing I would have changed was made it a little shorter movie.

LOVE Emma Stone! While this character is quite different from the usual characters she plays, she did an outstanding job! I've heard good things about the book, which will be on my summer reading list this summer.

I enjoyed the movie very much as did my daughter!

This movie made me realize how the slaves back in the days what they went through and made me feel sorry for them and how the other people acted was unreal

i liked this movie, but the ending kind of left me hanging, i just wish i would have seen more than what was left.

I liked the movie, but I thought the book was much, much better. The movie dragged on too long for me. Would have been better with more action. Best part "You is smart, You is loved, You is important". Still brings tears to my eyes.

I just saw the movie at home and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I lived during that time, but in the northeast. That's very different from the south. I learned more of what it really like during those times. This movie sounded so real and The acting reached my heart and soul about the life and times during that era. The movies was done in a real but sensitively way.

I loved the movie but I thinked I liked the book alittle better. I was reading the book when the movie came out and couldnt wait to finish it so I could see it. The book helped me get to know the characters better.

I think this is a great movie to watch with your family and friends.

This is such a good movie for so many reasons. Jessica Chastin is adorable & Emma Stone is fantastic. Even my husband enjoyed it.

The book and movie are both wonderful! Great lessons to be learned.

Best movie I have seen all year. Viola Davis should have got that oscar for her performance as Aibileen. Every time I watch those scenes with Aibileen and that little girl my heart just leaps out of my chest. I tell everyone I know to tell their children everyday "You Is Smart, You Is Kind, You Is Important"

One of the sweetest movies I've ever seen. You're laughing one minute and crying the next. That's the best kind of mixture. It was definitely oscar worthy.

Really liked this movie. The characters and story were very interesting,

This movie was so good and it really is encouraging movie for all woman. It was funny too.
