This is a great movie and the fact that it is based on true events makes it that much better.

This was the best movie that I saw all year! I loved the heartwarming message that left me crying at the end. It took great courage to write the story and I admire all who were a part of it. The acting in this film was incredible. It is a must see!

Very good movie. It made me laugh and cry. This movie is definitely a keeper.

Loved the movie, was very insightful, inspiring and hopefully will teach some who are still in the dark ages that all are equal and deserve the same, as long as we all work for the same. It was very inspiring, funny at times/sad at times, but brought home the truth. As I said, LOVED it!

I really loved this movie! It takes you back in time, has some serious & sad moments and some really funny moments. Great movie overall!

I read the book first and could not put it down. It mesmerized me and saddened me and made me laugh and made me proud of these women! The movie was great too. Stayed very close to the book, but of course they couldnt put every single detail in. The actresses were amazing..again, I laughed, I cried and I was mesmerized!!.....I recommend to ANYONE!

I believe that this movie is groundbreaking. It deals with a time when the United States was not as liberal as it it today, and life was very unfair for so many people. The movie sheds light on this time in history, yet is very entertaining as well as thought provoking.

I love movies that make you think and also make you leave the theater smiling. This was a great movie. A serious subject, given the respect it needed while entertaining you at the same time. One to definitely see

Wonderful movie!!! It really made me stop and think how much things have changed in the last 50 years! It is a captivating movie and makes my generation thankful that we did not have to go through the same type of racism they went through then.

Excellent movie! I always enjoy movies about this time period and it really seemed to take you back. It's just a really great story. I found it to be sad in some parts but I really liked the humor that was thrown in. Revenge is sweet!

From the bookd the the screen this is truly a fine movie for ladies and gents I loved it and always hoped after reading the book a movie would be made in my imagination it looked just as I thought on screen loved this movie
