My daughter LOVES her ds. She can play for hours if I allow her too. I love he variety of games they have for this system

My son loves his Nintendo DS and takes it everywhere we go.Whether we are traveling or just going shopping,the Nintendo DS is a super fun,portable gift for children of most ages and for adults.I would definately recommend the Nintendo DS to anyone who wants to buy their children a gift that they will love and that will keep them occupied and amused for hours on end.The Nintendo DS is worth every penny we payed for it.

I was given this for my birthday by my teenage kids. At first I was taken aback - but they told me it would make my 60 minute train commute fly by, and they weren't kidding. With the variety of games - simple to complex it keeps me occupied and I arrive at work ready to go.

Ok I'm going to say I'm a DS Addicted gal, I love skill games and Nintendo gives me the fix to keep my brain going. I love that it's so portable. I can pop it in my purse and go. My kids love it because we can not only play the gameboy advance games but also the ds games. They've come out with other versions of the DS but I will stick with the old standard because we love old school nintendo. Great product great price love it!

WE HAVE 2 DS' IN OUR HOUSEHOLD AND WE LOVE THEM! THEY ARE ALSO GREAT FOR THE KIDS TO HAVE IN THE CAR ON ROAD TRIPS AND SUCH. ESP SINCE THEY CAN PLUG IN A HEAD SET AND PARENTS DONT HAVE TO BE BOTHERED BY THE NOISE

Its so addicting I cant stop playing on it! The takes are so fun si u can never get bored a great way to waste time and just amazing!! Worth every penny!!

Love my DS!! I hardly use it now but, I was addicted to it when I first got it. There are so many games for the DS that it's hard to get bored.

For Christmas, we got our 6 year old son a DS. If we had known how great it would be, we would have gotten one for each of our children. The range of games, the ease of use, and the fantastic screen make this a reliable form of entertainment for any age.

We have 4 ds's and we all love them. We like it cause the kids can take it in the car and not fight and we all can play together.

My kids have DS, DSi and now 3DS - the DS and DSi are great handheld game systems - I just wish there were more games for younger kids and more that are easier for younger kids or beginners to play otherwise DS is highly addicting (even for moms) and a great system to take anywhere and play alone or with friends. a bit pricy - could be cheaper! or have a better warranty!

my kids love them and they have wireless on them so they are able to use them for homework too

Ds system review This is and old system but it's a classic and it will always be an amazing system you can play tons for games on it unlike some of the newest systems that don't have many games out yet.

As far as handheld gaming systems go, the DS was first of it's kind!! Being so new, it was implemented wonderfully. A simple gaming device that managed to acheive the combination of touch and buttons incredibly. My nephew, my husband, and myself love it!

We got these for christmas for our daughters ages 8 & 6. Both girls were very excited as they had been asking for them. 8 year old LOVES it. has used it on a couple of longer rides in the car and for quiet time on the weekends. 6 year old prefers to play on the computer girlsgogames.com. A little disappointed that there aren't more games for those who aren't able to read very well yet - but the leapster was a too simple. Do love the variety of games available, including the educational math and reading ones.
