When I was around 24, I became homeless because of a lot of different things happening at the same time that made it hard to keep working and I overcame it and now I'm married and live in a beautiful city with my husband and our 4 cats and a dog.

It took a lot of courage to go back to college after ten years. At the time I had two young children and a full time job. I didn’t think that it was possible to handle the financial and time constraints. However, I was able to finish not only my bachelor degree, but I got my masters as well. All in about three years. It was easier that the first time.

My journey as a single mother of two, facing homelessness, has been incredibly challenging but also a testament to my strength and determination. Every day feels like a battle against the odds, but through sheer perseverance, I manage to keep going, providing for my children and guiding us through tough times. This experience has taught me the value of resilience and the importance of my role, even when things seem impossible. Despite difficult circumstances, I know I can make a significant impact on our lives by staying strong and focused.
