Did you know that nearly 1 in 5 girls have missed school because they can’t afford period protection? It’s not just school they miss. It also means missing out on activities they love, like sports practices, drama club, or student council.
At puberty, girls’ confidence plummets, and having to miss activities because of lack of access to period products only makes this drop in confidence worse. Missing out can limit a girl’s potential and opportunities far beyond puberty.
We’re so excited to support Always & Walmart's Live #LikeAGirl campaign to spread the word about this important issue as they work to #EndPeriodPoverty. Always and Walmart are donating a year’s supply of period products to 50 teams in 50 states, so girls in need don’t have to miss out on the activities they love because they don’t have access to period protection.

I love this campaign. Thankful to be even a small part of helping!
I wish I had support like this growing up. It's a great response in helping young girls be prepared. It's so important that girls feel comfortable with themselves and cope with different options to still enjoy being in their own skin on a failing
Never had to experience this and well if I had a daughter I would most definitely keep her protected.
Glad they are helping young women with it so they don't miss anything
I would like to donate some products, but I don't know where.
awesome thank you for educating me and I will be happy to share this info with everyone. connie danielson
Glad someone is helping girls out in these situations.
This is very sad but an important issue. Thanks Always and Walmart for helping!
Something that tugs at your heart
What a wonderful way to help girls in need. We all take so many things for granted, that we forget about all the people that need help and support.
Happy to share this issue
Raising 3 grandchildren with one girl I understand this is a very important need, thanks Always for your help!
Girls should NOT have to worry about if they can afford period protection.
I read an article about this. Very sad!
