Be prepared
Stock up on basic school supplies whenever you see an awesome deal because sometimes some items can be hard to find this time of year! Buy supplies as early as you can and buy clothes on clearance in the spring because most spring clothes work for the fall, too
Newell's products are the best! We always bought them for our kids, and now we purchase them for our grandkids.
Buy a large enough lunch box to accomodate a water bottle and plenty of lunch and snacks for the day. My daughter bought a small lunch box last year and it was a real pain trying to make everything fit without bursting it at the seams. This year we have a giant soft sided lunch box (from COstco) that can be adjusted to fit a small or large lunch and things have been so much easier.
I started buying extra supplies just in case the teacher runs out or a student doesn't have what they need. It's the least I can do.
Make sure the kids are well rested, catch up with past classmates before the school year starts so they remember they will run into friends!
I have my son take a bath before bed also we organize the entire weeks clothing on Sunday night and I prepare lunch and snacks the night before well all besides the sandwich nobody wants to eat a sandwich from the night before LOL
Make a list, hit up Dollar Tree first, then go to Walmart!
It's a good idea to have everything prepared the night before, in case something unexpected comes up in the morning....lots less stress for all.
My tip is to get your lunch pack items ready early along with special bags and make the first weeks lunches all a day or two ahead. Label the lunches and store in the frig so the first part of the work is done!
Stock up and shop EARLY!
I like to get all the basics before the stores get crazy. Even if we have to pay a little more, it is nice to get the first batch of products, instead of products that have been picked over.
being organized by making lists
I always buy extra supplies to have on hand so the kids don't run out...especially the night before a big project is due.
Buy supplies early to beat the last minute shopping madness!!!
