Well I'm not going to say a woman would be better, but I would say just as good. She certainly couldn't be worse than some of the winners we've had.

I'm surprised the number is that low. I would think women would support women.

We need a woman as president. Women are great leaders and we need a turnaround in our society.

Personally, I thought it was extremely shocking that the percentage was so low. I thought more women would be supportive of having another woman as president. Sure, the two particular female candidates may not be favored by many, but they are still women who are running and trying to be a better president. We have had male presidents for decades, and look at how that's going. They were not all perfect, so what is the risk of having a woman being a president? I think it's a chance that our country should take.

I believe it would be a WONDERFUL change for the US to have a woman for a PRESIDENT.

I couldn't just vote for someone because of gender. I would want to hear her views first on how and what she can do for America.

Maybe I'm cynical, however, I do not believe the President makes many decisions on their own anyway. So having a female or male puppet for president; doesn't really matter. All presidents have put big business above the needs of the people and I don't see that changing. If a President really cared about this country, they would ensure that solar power would be made available (especially in California) at a much cheaper cost. Also, the President would not worry about the oil companies but instead worry about bringing the costs down on hybrid (battery or other) operating vehicles to decrease our dependency on other countries oil supplies. There are just so many issues going on in this country.

A woman expresses more emotion and concern, i think a female president is just what we need

I think the United States is a time in her future that the people are trying to accept people of all races or sex. Yes, there is the problem areas and I think they will always be there. Most of the time, people are trying to be there for anyone else. I think a woman in the White House would be a good idea and accepted by mostly everyone. I pray that the people of the United States would give her a chance to prove herself, just like the did with President Obama. Hilary Clinton has been through alot of things and yes, she has commit her own wrongs just like everyone else. Hilary Clinton is a human being and I think it is time to let her prove what she can or can not do.

It really depends on the woman/women running, as well as the men. Women do tend to be more emotional, which can be a good (or bad) thing. Then again, I know some men who can fly off the handle pretty quickly. Just don't catch me during "that time of month"...lol

the only thing is a woman has more understand to the needs of another person BUT that doesn't mean a female would make a better president.
