A woman would be great, if she's qualified. Just because she's a woman or popular doesn't mean she's qualified. Most women have experience running a household and know the challenges of being on a budget. Doing more with less funds by spending wisely.
I think until we can find someone, who is actually qualified to run this country, we are screwed!!
Really need a woman president
Women and men are equal. If a woman running has a favorable platform I'll vote for her. I wouldn't vote just because she's a woman. Gender doesn't determine competency :)
This does surprise me-I thought it would be higher.
I am a firm believer that a woman can do anything a man can do and most of the time BETTER than a man. Most of us are moms and wives. Essentially we do run our tiny countries within our house.
I don't think gender hinders or helps a person be a good president. I look to their actions, stances and history more than if they have a Y chromosome or not.
A female President would be great. I think there are things she could offer that a male just could not. I wouldn't just vote for any woman simply for her gender, certainly she would have to allign with my ideals.

The most qualified person should be president. Male, female it shouldn't matter the sex.
Of course I feel a woman would make a good president - provided she has the experience to do the job/run the country properly. There's a certain Republican candidate that I would NEVER vote for as I don't feel she's a supporter of other women (just look at her shocking thoughts about PP, equal pay & maternity leave). I would never just vote for a candidate based on the fact that has the same body parts as me. She would have to have a track record of supporting women's rights as well as other things I'm in favor of in order to get my vote!
The right woman could hopefully make a difference in how our government is run and the state of our country.
A women does have alot more understanding then MOST men but I think it's all about the person NOT the gender of the person honestly!
I don't care if it's woman/man/white/black/jew - I just want someone that will carry my values and be fiscally responsible.
I think a woman could absolutely be President. I don't believe Hillary is the one for the job though.
