When I graduated my mom told me how proud of me she was and that I was her hero. But the truth is that I wouldn't have accomplished that without her. She is my best friend and my hero.

My proud moment lately happened Saturday. My son was playing soccer and my 7 year old daughter offered her chair to one of his team mates who didn't have a chair so that he could rest while he was sitting out. There are so many moments that I feel overwhelmed, that I feel like I am not doing a good job as a mom. Then there are moments like that. those moments confirm that I must be doing some thing right!

A mom moment that makes me proud is my mom raising three kids herself and still managing a great career, she is super mom!

My mom has supported me in everything I do. She has been by my side through the ups and downs in my life as I have been by her side through her ups and downs also. Because she never hid breastfeeding my younger two siblings when I became pregnant I had no doubt in my mind that I also wanted to breastfeed my child and she breastfed both my younger siblings for about 2 years each. I am currently 15 months into my breastfeeding journey. She made it look so easy and I found out there were some rough times but she helped me through them. I thank her so much for teaching me everything I know. She has taught me to be the best mom I can be. I love her so much!

I found myself single and pregnant at the age of 19. My mom was there with me every step of the way! She never let me down, always let me know I wasn't alone in it all. She went to every appointment, planned my baby shower and bought me a beautiful bracelet with a very inspirational note with it. She was there holding my hand when I had my emergency c section. She is an amazing woman and an amazing mother. I don't know what my life would be like without her. She's my best friend!!!

The summer of 1998 my mother and I spent almost all of our time together in the kitchen. I was 7 years old and she taught me how to bake, cook, and sew. I loved the time we spent together because after that year, we wouldn't get much chance to have quality time together until I gave birth to my daughter in February of this year.

As a mom of 4 I have so many proud moments. My number one moment would be when my autistic 4 year old non-verbal son, Jaden, came up to me & looked me in my eyes. Then said "I love you mom". That was a huge moment for us. We have been working hard with therapy & doctors to help him. Then out of nowhere he did that. I will always cherish that moment & I look forward to many more moments like that.

As a single Mom, I am so proud that I instilled a thirst for knowledge into my girls. My Daughter finished Medical School and is now a doctor of OBgyn at Mt. Sinai Roosevelt in NYC in her 3rd year of residency. I am so proud of all she has accomplished

As a mother I am always so proud of my children's accomplishments. My 6 year old daughter is the most driven little girl in everything she does and works so hard. And I have a little boy who has the biggest heart and would do anything to make you feel better. I'm proud when my daughter cheers on her team mates even if it means they could get a spot instead of her. She is truly everyone's friend.

I am not only a mom too two handsome special needs boys but a step mom to an amazingly beautiful 13 year old. We don't get too see her very often, but she did come over for mothers day weekend which just melted my heart. I had purchased some jamberry wraps for her a month ago and was excited to share them with her. She was about 10 times more excited then I was and asked me to put them on her immediately. After we put them on, which gave us ample opportunity to catch up from the month long break we had since seeing her last. We took picture when we were done and she shared them every where. She was so proud to say I bought them for her and how well they turned out. After that she didn't leave my side and was even out and participating with the family instead of hiding in her room all weekend like she usually does. As a step mom I have had such a hard time connecting with her. But after this last weekend I feel I succeeded. What a great mothers day gift that was.

My StepMom took on five of us besides having two of her own and one with my Dad. She did the best she could to teach us all to be good human beings and to care for others.

My proudest moment being a mom was the first time I heard my daughter sing Christian music behind me in the car. Shes still only 5 now and knows a ton of songs. It fills my heart to hear her praise God. Sometimes we question ourselves as mothers if were doing a good job, too harsh, too easy, but when I hear her singing to God and praying it makes me feel like Iv'e done something right! Being a mother is truly a blessing.
