I had my dog in the backseat of my car on the way home from a trip to the vets' office not too long ago because he didn't seem to be feeling so good. He made it halfway home when he got sick all over the backseat. I cleaned it up when we got home but noticed the smell getting worse as the days went by, not better. I picked something up and folded my seat down a week or so later and noticed that he apparently had diarrhea also and it had run down in the crack between the seat and trunk. It was very , very nasty !

never ever give baby bottle of milk in car while driving, she puked all over the car seat and car! Could not get rid of the smell for weeks!

My favorite road trip every year is the same. We drive to Oregon Coast to our family cabin. It's about a four and a half hour drive, and we play loud music, and are so happy and in high spirits that its a great trip. The minute we pull up to that cabin everything inside me relaxes and I feel like I can take a break. It's a place where your soul can breathe.

My boys are always forgetting smelly soccer shoes, smelly socks, smelly shirts food wrappers and empty frosty cups. And my husband and I clean our car daily. Items are always stuck or hidden in seats.

We went to Florida on family vacation when I was eleven. My sister and I picked up shells from the beach and put all we collected in the trunk. We didn't realized that we had a stowaway. One of the shells contained a sea or sand critter of some sort, which died in the heat during the two day trip back home. It stunk horribly and it took quite a lot of scrubbing and airing out to remove the odor. It was just awful.

left an old pizza box in the car once in the summer! boy did that ripen and smell up the car. Took a long while to rid the car of the funky odor!

Haha! I actually forgot half of a leftover Taco Bell Crunch Wrap Supreme in the car...in Georgia...in August☺ You want to talk about disgusting?! It was so horrible. The worst part wasn't even that it stunk up the car, but the fact that I REALLY wanted to finish that Crunch Wrap!

1. Chinese noodles with Chinese greens left in the trunk after several days I smelled stinky feet and found out about it. 2. Recently my husband and I had a road trip with his parents and the travel seemed like forever

I would get some trash buckets and some cleaning supplies i have four kids my van is a huge mess

a tuna fish sandwich in the hot Florida sun ! It took forever to get the smell out :(

I let my daughter eat an egg salad sandwich in the car once, and I thought she ate it all. The car smelled awful for a week straight and we couldn't figure out what it was. I took her seat out to do my regular monthly washing of it, and her whole sandwich was smushed between the cover and carseat! I still have no idea how she managed that, but I still laugh when I remember that.

my fav road trip was one I took with a friend to visit my grandfather before he passed. he was still pretty healthy then and we sang really old songs to the radio all the way there and home! and we hit a few stores on the way home too!

One time I left a pint of milk in the car during a sunny day, and it had a strange smell in the car for days. My favorite road trip is one I took this past September with my family to Hilton Head Island, SC. It was so fun, and my dog came with us in his car seat.
