My son left his chocolate milk in the back seat and it started to smell nasty
LOL Wow! This definietly reminds me of an incident a few weeks ago!!! So, one day I get in my car & it smells a little rank...not bad enough to do anything about it really, I really just thought it was that fishy smell from when it rains sometimes. Well my mom was over about 2 days later & suggested we take my car somewhere. As soon as we opened the door we both smelled it, it smelled like milk that was beyond spoiled!!!! OMG!!! TERRIBLE!!! Anyway, I sprayed Febreeze & waited for the hubby to come home! :) Well he said it smelled like a dead mouse & assumed it was in a place he wouldn't be able to get to without daylight so he assured me he would take care of it the next day! I went out with him & the shop vac only to find out it was a dog treat that my dog had shoved up under my floor mat!!!! LOL
Well once a gallon of milk leaked and another time a can of biscuits rolled out of the bag in the trunk in the summer. The can of biscuits bursted and smelled rank. The milk was a little more difficult to pinpoint as I didn't know it leaked. Both of these things were before the febreze days. OH HOW WONDERFUL IT WOULD'VE BEEN TO HAVE HAD SUCH AN EASY FIX AS FEBREZE.
My favorite roadtrip was a few months ago when my best friend and I drove to San Diego.
We broke a wine bottle in the backseat of our Mazda coming home from the grocery store... we nicknamed the car "The Merlot" ;) But Febreze Car Clips saved the day!
I left a bottle of milk and it took weeks to get the smell out! We took a road trip to Florida for a family reunion. We stopped many places along the way!
I let my brother borrow the car and he left a bag of french fries in the back seat. You would be surprised at the smell that a petrifying bag of french fries can leave in your car. Makes it smell like a mildewed potato in there, with a melange of grease. It put me off french fries for a while. One of my favorite memories from a road trip was on my way home from doing seasonal work out West, I stopped at a little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant for dinner before checking into the motel. It was really good food.
I can not remember anything that I have left in the car.
A supply cup full of chocolate milk was left under a seat for I don't know how long but it smells like sour milk and we couldn't figure out why. We cleaned and cleaned and sprayed. But nothing worked until we found it. Gross. And my family and I are always taking long drives. We love seeing the scenery and listening to music and going places. We usually take a least one long drive somewhere every other weekend or sometimes every weekend. We love driving to the beach, just driving around, or going to new places. We are always on the go. We love exploring and driving. It is our getaway time. But the best time, was last year on labor day weekend when we spontaneously decided to drive from SW Washington to the Redwoods in California on a spur of the moment trip. It was long and exhausting but so worth it and we had a blast And made the best memories and took Lots of pictures. Our first BIG trip with the kids. And I'll never forget it.
I normally put groceries in the backseat but one day I'd bought too much at the store and left a bag of meat in the trunk and forgot about it..
Flew home from Florida. We arrived at our destination, grabbed our bags, then loaded the bags into the trunk of the car. When we got home we popped the trunk only to be hit with a terrible fish smell. Apparently the airline placed a cooler full of fish on top of luggage. The cooler had leaked and we didn't realize it. We tried everything to remove the smell from the car and the luggage. Lemon juice, vinegar, leaving the windows open on the car, leaving the suitcase open in the sun. Nothing seemed to remove the smell. Finally a friend suggested Frebreze. It worked! No fish smell in the car. No fish smell on the luggage!
my son left his wet sock in the car from soccer practice and it wedged in betweeen seats. couldnt find it for a ehile and it really stunk
Gave a drunk friend a ride, he threw up in the backseat!
milk!!
My boyfriend and I went to Shogun's and got the shrimp. The portions are so big that we always get to go boxes, so we put the shrimp in the box. The box was left in the backseat of his jeep for 2 weeks, and it took longer for him to actually get the smell out of there.
