The 2015 Grammy telecast airs this Sunday on CBS and one of its highlights promises to be an
all-star mash-up with Sir Paul McCartney joining hip-hop superstar Kanye West and pop singer Rihanna to perform their new single, "FourFiveSeconds" featured here:

moments, the main business will be the awards honoring excellence in music. One of the most prestigious is Record Of The Year for "artistic achievement and technical proficiency without regard to sales." It is awarded to the Artist and/or Producer (versus Song Of The Year which is awarded to the Songwriter of the lyrics/melody)
and this year's competition is as steep as ever!

kimigal | BOILING SPGS, SCI would like to see Sam Smith win Record of the Year because, in my opinion, the song is the most original/unique of all of the nominees. The Grammys have become extremely boring and I haven't seen a whole lot of talent on the show in a very long time. There's so much fluff and no substance. Don't get me wrong, there's talent out there. Bruno Mars is amazing! And Adeleis awesome! But most of the nominees in the Pop categories are way too over rated and they seem to come a dime a dozen. The last broadcast of the Grammys almost put me to sleep until I thought the Black Keys put on a great performance, even though I'm not a huge fan. Then Jack White came on, first with a brief but hauntingly beautiful song with an all female back-up band. Then he brought the house down and rocked it all out with a different back-up band! I think that was 2 years ago. I want to see more stuff like that. Wake me up instead of putting me too sleep!
